Qrendo req:ai version 2.0 is here. This is the most comprehensive update to the platform to date, featuring a new underlying architecture, redesigned workflows, and a significant performance boost for projects with thousands of requirements.
New list views for large projects
Previous list views relied on client-side rendering of the entire requirements base. In v2.0, lists are rebuilt with server-backed cache and delta updates: only what changed since the last fetch is loaded. The result is near-instant navigation even in projects with 10,000+ requirements.
Filter views, saved searches, and batch operations are now first-class features in the list interface.
Improved AI workflows
Smart batch editing
A new asynchronous operation lets you apply a single instruction across hundreds of requirements at once — reformulate, classify, prioritise, or add attributes in bulk without manual review.
AI search in V&V plans
Natural language can now automatically match relevant requirements to test items, dramatically reducing the time needed to build a complete coverage matrix.
Improved import analysis
Advanced PDF mode now extracts tables and page structure as a separate structured ZIP, giving higher confidence and better source positioning for complex RFP documents.
New report module
Report generation is now a complete module with a template library, a block dependency graph, and partial Word export. AI-intensive blocks run asynchronously and can be edited directly in the result before export.
Improved security model
Per-project permission groups are now more granular: import permissions, AI-analysis permissions, and V&V approval permissions can be assigned separately. This makes it possible to configure project roles with exactly the right access level — no more than necessary.
Upgrading
All existing projects and requirements migrate automatically. If you run on-prem and want to schedule the upgrade, contact us — we will guide you through the process.
