Today we are publicly launching Qrendo req:ai. The product has been built in close collaboration with real customer projects in defense, infrastructure, and regulated industries — environments where requirements work must not be fragmented across Word, Excel, and email.
What is Qrendo req:ai?
Qrendo req:ai is a platform for intelligent requirements management: from importing and decomposing documents, through review and change management, to requirement specifications, reports, V&V, and risk — in a shared data model with full traceability.
The platform is built on an ISO 15288-style lifecycle model with two requirement levels: stakeholder requirements (SR) and system requirements (SyR). Every SR can be traced back to the exact wording in the source document — not just the file as a whole.
Launch highlights
- Multi-format import from PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images (OCR), and audio (transcription) — with AI-generated stakeholder requirement candidates.
- Review & CCB — formal review packages with finalization and change packages with impact analysis.
- V&V and risk (optional modules) — coverage matrix, runs, approvals, and a risk register with stale-link detection against requirement versions.
- Public read-only API, Excel/EA export, and ZIP-based project export/import.
- On-prem or Swedish cloud — you decide where data lives.
What happens next?
We are onboarding new pilot customers continuously. If you want to see how Qrendo req:ai would work for your use case — book a demo and we will walk through the import using one of your own documents.
More information about how the requirements base fits together from source to delivery is available under Product. Traceability and compliance are covered in more depth under Benefits.
